How it Started

I wanted to be an interior designer since I was 13—as soon as I realized it was a '“real” job. I was the kid who would draw floor plans for fun. I even wrote to interior designers that I admired from my design magazines—I still have those letters.

I’d always been creative, but I liked that interior architecture and design have a technical side and constraints that call for thoughtful solutions.

Before starting SG23 Design, I worked in award-winning high-end residential design, hospitality, retail and corporate interior design.
