Our client came to us with the intention of just having us build a new website. He quickly realized that tackling the brand identity before focusing on a the website was more appropriate.
The previous logo was a lacked contrast in type weights making it a bit difficult to read in regards to hierarchy. The house graphic was also a bit misleading since my client doesn’t build homes—he specializes in custom designed kitchens and baths. We started the process with client discovery and clearly defined the company’s ideal client and worked from there. The result is elegant brand identity that clearly conveys my client’s focus, inspired by vintage signage.
